Delete your OurGuests account

Ask us to delete your OurGuests account and the personal data linked to it. You can do this here without signing in or installing the app.

How it works

  • Fill in the form below with the email or phone number on your account.
  • We may contact you on that email or number to confirm the request is really yours.
  • We complete the deletion within 15 days and tell you when it is done.

What we delete

  • Your login, name, email, phone number and profile photo
  • Your ID documents
  • Your notifications and saved devices

What we keep, and why

  • Rent, deposit and payment records, for up to 8 years after the tenancy ends. The other person on them still needs them, and the law requires them for accounting and tax. Your name is removed from them where the law allows.
  • Anything needed for an open dispute, until it is settled.
  • ID documents are deleted automatically 90 days after a tenancy ends, or sooner if you ask.

Before you ask

  • Tenants: if you still live at a property, your landlord needs to end your stay first, so your deposit and dues can be settled.
  • Landlords: end the stays of tenants still living at your properties first.
